In the past, whilst MissingSync has always worked well for me once I've gotten it to behave, the upgrade process has always been a nightmare - each time I've had to delete all my sync data, back up all my contacts etc, do a hard reset of my PDA (actually a WM smartphone) and start again from scratch.

I was delighted, therefore, when the upgrade to the latest version worked smoothly, giving me no problems whatsoever. First time ever (in around 3 years of use). Thank Gawd!

It's good to see mounting of the PDA as a volume returning - in all other respects, MissingSync continues to be an essential part of my workflow - one of those software products I would have difficulty managing without. (I know others have had problems, but other than the upgrade issue it's always been well-behaved for me - that's over several computers and two 'phones).
