This is very well thought out and well done. However, when first waking the computer from sleep, it takes a good 10 seconds before you hear the alarm. And if you've chosen music from iTunes, your track is already 10 seconds into it by the time you start hearing it. AND, if you're one of those people like me who requires authentication to wake from sleep/come out of screen saver, etc.... after the computer times out because you have now not manually logged in, the computer goes back to sleep, and your alarm stops. So, really, you'll get about 5-10 seconds of the alarm before it stops and goes into it's snooze mode. Then it starts again after the snooze time has passed. If there were a fix for this, this would be hands down the best alarm clock for the Mac. I'm still giving it 4 stars because not all or even many users require a password like I do. But I'm on a laptop, so that's how I do it, for security purposes. BTW, I am on a Macbook 2 Ghtz, Core 2 Duo running 10.4.11.
