This worked awesomely in getting my songs off of my ipod and back into itunes, however, one major problem for me, which is keeping me looking for another solution, is that it doesn't properly maintain track/album names for files tagged in languages such as Japanese or Chinese. The text is just garbled.
If this one problem could get fixed, this would be the perfect song recovery app for ipod.
