Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Version 7.0.1 doesn't work. After carefully following the step-by-step installation instructions, because its installation is not automated, and entering the code number password that was sent to me after registration, I attempted to use Ultralingua,. After a failed initial installation, and then a second seemingly successful installation, a window repeatedly popped up, each time I tried to use the product, telling me that I have to have Ultralingua running. Since I did have Ultralingua running, and had restarted it several times, even restarting my Mac did not prevent the same window message from popping up to tell me that I had to have Ultralingua running. Subsequent attempts to re-install newly downloaded copies of Ultralingua similarly failed to get the product to work. After writing to Ultralingua support a few days ago,I received a message from the individual who responded to my request for help, state that she was checking with the manager/developer to see why this new version wasn't working. It's now days later and I am still waiting for a response.

Hello,

I'm a developer at Ultralingua, and I'm terribly sorry you haven't heard from us in response to your Ultralingua issues. It sounds as though the problems are a result of the LiveDictionary software, which is a third-party product that integrates with Ultralingua 6 but not Ultralingua 7. In any case, I've sent you an email and will work hard to make sure we iron out all the problems you're experiencing.

Ben
