Bad reviews on this "beta"

Feedback Type:  Review

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

I understand this is a paid public beta, but it's really bad when all emails to the author to report problems are completely ignored.
Don't you want the feedback during this "beta" period so you can fix it?
I mean really, some of us paid money for software that is still beta.
There are so many bugs an problems and we want to help to get them fixed, but you can't keep going on ignoring your loyal customers.
I don't plan on giving up on this software even though it is clear that you have given up on your users.
Please respond to emial and at least let us know you have the bug and you are working on it.
I have been reporting a bug since 1.0 and I have never got a response and now 1.0.3 is out and it still hasn't been fixed and again, no response to my email.
I PAID!!!!!

Bad reviews on this "beta" - zunipus

Um, huh? Both Julian and Peter (the developer) have been in touch with me rather regularly while I have been beta testing pre-1.0 of CPP.

There is a menu item in CPP for 'Suggestions and Bug-Reports...". It works fine. I know for a fact that Julien and Peter have been diligent in their work to create CopyPaste Pro as a greatly evolved descendent of Copy-Paste. During my beta testing, did Julian or Peter write to me after every suggestion? Did all my suggestions get integrated immediately? No way! But when they were part of the related schedule of improvements, a pile of my suggestions appeared in the app.

Conclusion: Have patience. This is a complicated program. The beta process pre-1.0 took a LONG time. And, write to Julian who heads up the project. He is very friendly, happy to chat and respond when he has time. Keep in mind that Julian heads up several other software projects as well, which means he is kept busy.

Me? I've been giving CopyPaste 5 stars for years and still do.

:-D
