Update your Windows first

I just updated from 5582 to 5560 and only ran into problems, because I re-installed Parallels Tools *before* updating to my XP SP2 to SP3.

Looks like I ran into the same problem. What should I do next? Currently the screen starts flashing a few minutes after booting windows.
