Tracker Still Doesn't Work Right

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Recommend Product: YES

Song title, artist, etc still stays stuck on the song that comes up when you first open the program. Ex: The Drifters "On Broadway" and album cover hasn't changed in half an hour. It worked on a version several updates ago! Minor annoyance I guess because everything else seems to work fine.

Tracker Still Doesn't Work Right - goodtime_nicemac

The tracker is run by DogStarRadio.com, a third party company. We have no control over performance of the artist and song data.

StarPlayr2 does function without the tracker. You can turn the tracker OFF so you don't have to look at the miss information. You can turn it back when you see DogStarRadio.com displaying the correct data on their website. If it is down, it is usually back up in by the next day. We do not know why the artist and song data goes stale. We can only assume DogStarRadio's Sirius Radio is offline.

We investigated getting our own tracker setup, but at this time we do not have an alternative solution.

Any other software that uses the DogStarRadio tracker will have the same issue.
