Where's my free upgrade?

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Contributed by: tiffert Monday, May 19 2008 @ 09:29 AM PDT

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: NO

This developer has long had credibility problems and they seem to persist.

The web site for Web Snapper announces "We are offering a free upgrade to Web Snapper to those Red Snapper customers who forward us the email sent to them when they originally purchased Red Snapper. Be sure to use the same email address the email was sent to."

3 weeks and 3 emails to the developer later, no response whatsoever. Given past complaints, this lapse in service is hardly an isolated instance.

Where's my free upgrade? - tasty_cust_service

Ouch Tiffert !

This is Tim from TastyApps...

(notice i'm posting the same day as your post)

I try to get back to everyone within 24 hours... you say you have sent us 3 emails? I can't imagine what is happening :-/ My inbox was clear as of Friday... and i'm working on responding to the people who emailed over the weekend.

Are you emailing customer-service@tastyapps.com - maybe the emails aren't getting to us ? Can you try emailing from another address ?

Why would you say:

"This developer has long had credibility problems and they seem to persist. "

Please remember we are offering FREE upgrades... most developers don't really do that. It really hurts when you attack my credibility, especially when i am offering something i have spent a lot of time on for free.

:-(

Don't hold your breath... - decadence

I'm still waiting. The only thing which seems to worry Tim is VersionTracker feedback, not users.

Tim, customer service starts before VersionTracker.

At this point, we don't really care if your feelings are hurt, because you are annoying us and wasting our time with your dissembling.
