Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

I've been using iVolume religiously since version 1. I was excited to see this new version, but have mixed feelings about it after having used it.

Pros: faster than earlier versions, manual access to all volume settings
Cons: clunky interface, not enough sorting options, no simple way of changing sound for just a few tracks.

I like how the previous versions of iVolume only showed and adjusted the tracks you had selected in iTunes. Now iVolume loads my entire library every time I launch it, and I have to make custom groups to narrow things down. I still can't figure out how to adjust a few selected songs - it keeps trying to adjust my entire library every time I hit "go".

Hopefully the author is following these comments and will add some of the lost functionality back in.
