Still not compatible with TypeIt4Me

Feedback Type:  Review

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: NO

I had used an older version of CopyPaste for years, even though it occasionally had conflicts with another crucial (for me) application, TypeIt4Me. TypeIt4Me automatically expands short codes into whatever long-winded text you like -- for example, I can type an "a" followed by a hard space and get my full address auto-typed. I asked whether the new version of CopyPaste Pro had that same conflict and was told: "the old copypaste had issues [at] times because of the older way of doing things. i think if you try copypaste pro you will find there are no conflicts. that is one reason we rewrote it completely."

$20 later, I now know that the new CopyPaste Pro not only has conflicts with TypeIt4Me, the conflicts are even more serious than the old version, rendering TypeIt4Me unusable when CopyPaste Pro is installed. CCP is a good application on its own, but if TI4M is important to you, you might want to reconsider.
