Data entry is still a pain

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

I don't understand the developer's resistance to addressing data entry. The current approach is slow and error-prone. How many people need to complain about it before something is done? Were it not for the abysmal data entry UI, I'd probably buy iBank.

Been there, done that - robbyx--2008

I've submitted feature requests in the past regarding data entry. They obviously didn't resonate with the developer. That said, the data entry problems are OBVIOUS to anyone but the developer it seems. Oh well.

I would certainly give iBank a try if data entry and reconciliation were rectified. These are two critical functions to anyone with a personal account. And despite the many flaws and poor support inherent to Quicken, data entry and reconciliation are simple tasks.
