Model U Wacom - Fire_Angel

You buy a Serial to USB adapter; mine is a KeySpan adapter I bought on eBay, it works beautifully and I'd recommend them if you want such an adapter. There are a lot of different ones about, most are now not being manufactured so you'll need to buy one second-hand.
