In the meantime, I've found that TubiTunes works better for downloading web video. It's even a little less expensive.

Videobox. - tasty_cust_service

Actually, this product does not have half the features of Videobox, only works on youtube, and misses most of the videos - doesn't have conversion options etc. etc.

TubiTunes works on all the sites I tried - decadence

including Viddler and several other simple flash embedded videos (not centralised).

TubiTunes is outstanding, like most of Peter Maurer's software.
