Apparently, and sadly, poorly implemented too.
Before I downloaded ScreenShotter, I checked out the developer's site, and this app wasn't even available.
The concept is good, but I couldn't get it to do anything besides show/hide the tool bar, or go to fullscreen. Attempting to select an actual BG picture proved fruitless for me. I couldn't even get it to quit from the menu bar menu item.
Fortunately, the button worked.
Windows-like GUI.
Needs much work, since it doesn't seem to actually do anything.
If it ever does actually work or do something at least, I'd be interested in trying it again.

RealBasic? - David Nelson
Whoa... Hold it. You're calling REALBasic a good programming language?!?! It's an expensive program that writes bloated, ugly applications. Also, it does not follow Apple's User Interface Guidelines. And don't give me your fancy "writing software" speech, because I do, and I'm not afraid to use Apple's development suite!

I just find that Xcode is too difficult. REALbasic has a very well organized interface and an excellent community that makes it a very easy language to jump into. I can't find any language dictionary or easy to understand tutorials for Xcode. I can't find the supportive community either. If all Xcode users act like you, I don't want to be part of that community.REALbasic's apps are large because they include all the frameworks necessary for the program to run. (except quicktime and quesa) This makes installation very easy and very clean.
What "developing software speech"?

Try this newest version. It works better. The bugs in the previous version were due to the lack of testing on intel machines. I am using a G4 iMac. Since then some helpful intel machine users have helped me to test it out. I have ironed out the bugs. It works fine now.Thursday, May 08 2008 @ 10:44 AM PDT

There is nothing wrong with RealBasic. I don't use it, but I am familiar with it, and it is a fine development language. Stop criticizing and pretending you know better.Get some talent. Get some balls. Write an application.
