I have a MBP 2.4 GHz, Leopard 10.5.2. I used software update and it came up. I installed it with no problems so far. One thing that you have to do is go into your utilities folder>Java>java pref application, and then choose this version to be your default version of Java. Hopefully Apple will have versions for all the rest of our older computers soon.
