The tools to aid Boot Camp just get better and better - But why can't Apple provide this interoperable file systems seamlessness for free? After all, Mr. Jobs did harp on with promises of dozens of secret features in Leopard which never materialised upon release)

AFAIK, If Apple provided NTFS write support, they'd have to pay Microsoft royalties for every copy of Mac OS X shipped, either the in-store upgrades or the ones you get with your computer.

I somehow don't see Jobs allowing that to happen.
