I have not tried any of these, as I am not quite on Leopard yet.

RE: Or for free... - NoThInGgOeS
Frank,I personaly have talked with a number of Mac users who have tried many
different methods to rid Leopard of the annoying File Quarantine Alerts.
The method you have posted , I think one of the most popular by on-line users.
Howerver, due to the noticable delay and the constunt use of your system
checking each and every file/folder that this free script is attached to, it just does
not work well with us Power Users.
And as you stated in your comment Frank:
( I have not tried any of these, as I am not quite on Leopard yet. )
I think the issue of File Quarantine Alerts may be out of your comfort-zone.
iQuarantine X is not a background process that checks your files.
iQuarantine X does not attach scripts to your files and or folders.
iQuarantine X was made for the high end production Mac User
in mind, who wants no delays, and no annoying popup alerts in
their workflow.
When you have to click away the File Quarantine Alert more than 30, 40 times a day, the price tag is no issue. :)
