I had to remove this and revert to 2.1. The app wouldn't launch, or rather would quit as soon as it opened. Repairing permissions and restarting did no good.
There is obviously a severe bug here somewhere, as it appears that a lot of others are experiencing the same thing.

No reason to be a jerk! VT provides for commentary and there are plenty of people, like me, that check for comments to save myself issues that early adopters find. To ask everyone to ONLY post to the developer's site when there are issues isn't helpful at all to others. In this case there was an issue and it's been addressed.Friday, April 25 2008 @ 12:51 PM PDT

Yes, I did leave an email for the developer, and if you had read the forum that you so blithely and arrogantly suggest that I read, you would discover that this is not an isolated incident. And I'm not shouting, either...
This was also not a review, but a troubleshooting comment.
It is left to warn others not to trash an earlier version before they know this works on their machine.
If yours works, that's just lovely.
There is nothing inappropriate about my comment whatsoever, and I venture to guess that there may be someone out there in versiontrackerland that actually might find this helpful.
So please, cut down on the coffee and get over yourself.

My Mac version works fine, but my Windows version crashes immediately upon launch as well.I too have posted in their forums and am a paid user (since some people seem soooo concerned about that).
There certainly is a problem with 2.2.0 though. Apparently it is on both platforms.
Also, I appreciate your post. It is helpful even though others are rude.

Ok, did you contact the developer to help you out in stead of shouting that it is not working? What system are you running?
An update does not mean the whole application has changed and not working anymore.
Why not asking help at the forum of DVD2one.com?
Bought it?
This is no help to others who are looking for an already long existing and good working application.
