Dear Tweakersoft developers, Please keep rolling with this one! I'm a design professional that has been using Illustrator for over 10 years and while it was once a great tool, it's become incredibly byzantine. VectorDesigner is wonderful as it is so lightweight, simple, and clean yet very powerful.

I'm amazed at how the same tool can have such a different feel across applications. While it may seem small and insignificant, the feel of VectorDesigner's Bézier tool (and similarly the pen tool in iWork apps) is so much better than what Adobe offers. Adobe just doesn't "get it" anymore, (they haven’t for years) and they have become incredibly stagnant. Meanwhile applications like VectorDesigner from Tweaksoft, and tools from other developers which include Flux, Scribbles and Opacity are actually innovating and improving user interface elements. These little applications, although not to any level that would allow users to supplant their Adobe tools (yet), allow you to work so much faster and easier than Adobe applications. I only open my Adobe apps when I absolutely have to.

I hope small and independent developers continue to leverage the power of Mac OS X technologies in order to push the boundaries of digital imaging tools. I know plenty of professionals and companies that are always on the lookout for Adobe alternatives (I know these aren’t mean to be “pro apps”, but the truth is the notion that they need to be convoluted is a myth, perpetuated by Adobe). These are great beginnings with a lot of promise, I’ll stay tuned.
