$375/month is completely unreasonable. You can hire a good web developer and get a much better web app for much less. I'd definitely look at all your options before going with an expensive product that you are just renting. Also, keep in mind that the data you put in might not come out (depending on the format) which means you could be locked into this pricey monster.

Hi Jon and thanks for the comment,My firm built, owns, hosts, and supports hs_Nonprofit. Our model is to customize each piece of software for each individual client and then support the heck out of it with a 12 person support team. For those nonprofit and charitible organizations who require a very specific solution tailored to them backed by 24/7 support, our service and pricing works well.
The advantage is that when our customers call with a specific question about a particular contact or transaction, we're able to look at the specific issue instantly because the data sits on our servers, is backed up off site daily etc.
All the data can be exported at anytime by the client in csv, xls, dbf, xml etc format as often as they like and moved into whatever other applications they require whenever they like.
