Bungie, the PC only company that sold out to Microsoft wants you to download this app killer so you now will have to have the CD in the drive or you wont be able to play. They "claim " that more Mac users have stolen it than bought it but you can't even buy Halo Mac anymore, they never produced enough to sell and used scalpers are selling it for 120 a pop for a game with 1999 tech ! You can find the PC version for 10 dollars. Screw them ! Don't download it, it's a trap.

I'm guessing you meant the MAC-only company that sold out to microsoft, but the sentiment is the same...Personally, i could never understand how having a CD in the drive is any kind of guarantee against piracy... Apart from "no-cd" hacks, you could always download a .iso or .dmg for pc or mac respectively, burn to CD and play.
The only thing it does is irritate end-users (legitimate as well as others) into not bothering with such fecking software...
