Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

Logic Pro 8 in Leopard seemed to open quicker for me after this update, - however, now back-ups via Time Machine are inoperable. It just gets stuck in "preparing" mode. Apple seems to be about as reliable as Windows these days; constantly buggy app.s & updates... anything to do with Intel chips??? Didn't used to be this bad with PPC. But it's getting BORING! Pick up your game Apple... think you're losing the plot a bit. You make computers and software. Not just iPods.

Problems with Time Machine - scatlizard

Take one step forward and two steps back. I'm using more open source programs than I use to because it just works better. Thunderbird mail sets up easier and works. I think Apple came up with this time machine idea to not only save their customers if a internal HD breaks but also if the wonderful software updates Apple throws at us screws our computer. But wait now the software update breaks time machine!
