If "Activity Monitor" and the "iStatPro" widget are to be believed, instantly after restart, (and this is an aluminum iMac, also did the aluminum keyboard firmware update as well). the entire system seems more efficient.
I have 2Gb ram, and in the ISP widget, it hovered around 1 Gb used, even when idling, and went up from there, although I never saw it use the full 2Gb. On AMonitor, the processors stayed about 1/4, and up. Now, they idle low, and bump up.
The system feels a bit snappier.
It's nice to see some resources being "used" better. I've always known that OS X had a problem with clearing memory. (RAM). Now, that seems to be over come, or helped in a big way!
Thanks Apple!
