I downloaded this version of Windows Media Player 9 to use with OS 10.5 and I received a sitx file that opened as a garbled test file instead of a usable application or plug in. I assume the problem is that it won't work yet in Leopard OS10.5. Any suggestions from anyone?

Hiya, I had the same problem. You need to download Stuffit (there are a few free places) to unzip the file. Then it works ok.

you first need to install the latest version of stuffit and which will then allow you to unzip the Windows Media Player file for Leopard.
