Anyone running Bootcamp, or possibly a virtual machine can use this. I've had no conflicts using it, and it hasn't noticeably slowed my mac at all. Best of all it's totally transparent. Install it and then you can suddenly read and write NTFS (Windows) disks when booted in the Mac OS. It also adds the ability to format as NTFS to Disk Utility. I bought this since MacDrive wouldn't work with my 64-Bit Vista. Since I couldn't use Mac disks in Windows, I figured I'd use Windows disks in the Mac OS. So far it's working great.
Yes, I know this opens up my Mac drives to Windows viruses, but then again so does any other method such as MacDrive, folder sharing, etc. I keep BitDefender updated in Vista and VirusBarrier updated in Leopard. No problems.
I'd highly recommend this for any Bootcampers, VMers, or anyone wanting to write to NTFS disks while in the Mac OS.
Nope, I have no affiliation to Paragon. Check my previous numerous posts.

You are correct. A tad rude, but correct. What I should have said is that MacDrive will potentially open up your Mac drives to Windows threats. None the less, I believe that I did leave some good information for others who might consider buying the product.Monday, April 28 2008 @ 10:20 AM PDT

Your statement that this opens up OS X to Windows viruses is insanely inaccurate. Paragon NTFS only lets OS X read/write to Windows volumes. It does NOT let Windows (and all its viruses) read or write to OS X's volumes.Reply to This
