Given that most Mac users buying this software are likely to be using iPhoto to organise their photos, and will therefore want to use Elements with iPhoto, it seems remarkable that:
- A search on the Elements help file finds no mentions of iPhoto
- A search on Adobe's on-line help also finds no mentions of iPhoto
This is not exactly going to make this product user friendly for the average user...

Adobe pretending iPhoto does not exist? - iGreg
Interesting. It seems to me that iPhoto should be discussed within Photoshop Elements help files if they are supposed to work so well together. I am looking for a user-friendly and decent photo editor, and did not like PE 4 (bloated and not user-friendly).Also, PE4 DID NOT work well with iPhoto. I consistently had problems seeing photos in iPhoto that were edited in PE4. Considering the high upgrade price of $60 for PE6, I am seriously considering Pixelmator which is the same price (though I find $60 high for any photo editor).

Better search iPhoto Help and use the feature in iPhoto to choose the preferred external application for editing your photos in Elements directly from iPhoto.Reply to This
