With a week of use, I find that PDT fits my needs pretty well: quick entry, ability to add your own items and save them to Favorite Foods, ability to enter exercise and some rudimentary stats and graphs. I would love to see (1) ability to track mono & polu unsat fats; (2) bar graph of percents of all food breakdowns (% fat, % that are sat, monounsat, polyunsat, % carbs, % of carbs as fiber, sugar; (3) BMI graph that follows user over time; (4) Calories burned as exercise graph; (5) a bit more modern GUI (although it's not bad), and (6) sync with iPhone and other computers via .mac. I really loved Diet & Exercise Assistant by Keyoe Software, but it only works with Palm and Windows and now that I use iPhone, can't use (there is no Mac desktop version). Pity, otherwise a nearly perfect diet and exercise tracker. For us mobile types, an iPhone version is pretty essential. I hope that development continues with this already nifty product so that, one day, it can live up to its name.
