Does VersionTracker have an IN with Yazsoft? - Yazsoft

Unfortunately other than submitting the relevant info when a new version is released, we have no control over how or when the VersionTracker system processes that info. Lately though, VersionTracker performance and response time overall has been very slow. This was not the case about 6 years ago, when VersionTracker was actually fast.

Saw the same thing. VT has 5.0.1 update - the app says 5.0 is up-to-date. I just came back to VT and downloaded the update. It is kinda funny that the app doesn't know about the update - but VT does!

The app gets its update information from Yazsoft I thought.
Yazsoft would be the ones that send the information to VT but even then
Yazsoft should have the newest version on their site. If SD is not showing the current version than it would have be Yazsoft fault that it isn't.

I have never had a problem with several other softwares that I own, letting me know when an update is.
Go on the http://www.macheist.com/forums/ and you will read about how they push down updates and where Yazsoft admitted it. In other words they control SD where it will show an update or not.
