I like this update !
I too started using superduper when CCC 2.3 wasnt being upgraded.
SD creates really robust sparseimage's, especially when you are doing an incremental backup.
But the "restore" speed of SD was pretty slow, relatively.
then CCC 3.1 came out today. So I did a restore from a SD sparseimage, and used CCC 3.1 to put in on a new 8 core 2.8 GHz MacPro. Damn, the restore just flew, fastest I've seen yet. Just to test, I used this same SD sparseimage backup, and used SD to restore. Took nearly twice as long. Go figure?
Thanks Bombich, I like it.
But I am going to continue to use both, as CCC 3.1 held up pretty well in this new comparison.
