Unlike most Adobe products, no Mac TRIAL version is available yet - only Windows try-out version is online. Given the major rewrite and redesign of Elements 6, I'd like to see it in action first. Leopard 10.5.x upgrade rendered all my earlier Photoshop versions inoperable. Hmmph! I've always considered Elements to be a GREAT value - 90% of the power and precision of Photoshop's tools, adjustments and filters at a bargain price.

I think the OP means that his full version of Photoshop won't run on Leopard. My copy (Photoshop 7) won't either though it was fine on Tiger, which is why I'm reading up on PE6 with a view to buying that rather than upgrading to Photoshop CS3.Saturday, March 29 2008 @ 10:52 AM PDT
Yes, there's a trial - jd33
I just downloaded & installed the upgrade for PSE 6.0. I purchased my copy, but noticed that once you install, it gives you two options: either to register it, or to do a 30-day trial.Tuesday, March 25 2008 @ 05:10 PM PDT

FYI, I have the latest version of Leopard and the latest version of Photoshop Elements 4 (on PowerPC) and it works for me.Reply to This
