It took me less than a minute to figure out the software: Search, Download, Select Format, Send to Desktop, Play. It is so simple that some people find it challenging.
I had a problem playing movies so I wrote the programmer and this is his response:
"Thanks for reporting. I will fix this today. Please check the Media Snap website for an update within the next 24 hrs."

It's simpler to learn the software by searching a topic.1. Clik on RESULTS in the menu bar.
2. Enter a topic to Search, hit return key to see results. The number of files found is indicated in RESULTS (n).
3. Click on Download button on RHS to download file of choice.
4. Click on DOWNLOADS in menu bar to see the download progress bar for each file.
5. Look at the number in brackets next to DOWNLOADS (n). That is an indicator of the number of files downloading. When the number is zero (0), all the files are downloaded and the queue disappears.
6. Look at the number in brackets next to FINISHED (n). That is an indicator of the number of files downloaded.
7. Click on FINISHED (n) in the menu bar. See the list of files downloaded. Look to the RHS of each item. See icon with "Send to desktop" title. See the two options ">" or "X". " >" will send to desktop. "X" will delete the file.
8. The > or X will darken when it is doing work. The > or X will return to normal when work is completed. Wait.
9. Select AUDIO or VIDEO to set file output format.
10. Double Click on "Send to Desktop" icon. A desktop window opens with file in it. File appears on desktop in format of choice.
1. Switch between AUDIO and VIDEO to save the file in both formats.
The commands and icons are universal to Mac applications so I just followed the logical sequence of icons and commands. I'm just a dumb enduser and there were only so many things to click.

Hi,I am the developer of Media Snap.
You can send me email describing your problems. Usually I will respond with a solution within hours. If you found a bug I will tell you when the bug will be fixed. Usually it takes me one to two days to fix a reported bug.
Write to uin.cmk@googlemail.com with your email-client of choice.
You can define your default email client to be gmail. No Problem. Btw: I am using gmail aka googlemail too.

How did you send it to the desktop?I copied the URL of the YOUTUBE video I wanted into "Media Snap" and found the choice of audio or video and chose video and hit return and one of the 7 choices listed in "Media Snap" appeared in "Downloads" but nothing happened. Zero progress!
I went to the author's website and clicked on "Submit Feedback, feature requests and bugs" and was given a choice of setting up "Mail" or nothing. I use "gmail" and don't want "Mail" set up so here I am. What did I do wrong? I'll appreciate any help you can give me.
Thanks!
Wayne Welsh
