If you are using this software simply to merge and/or rearrange pages of PDFs, you don't need this software. You can just use the native Mac OS software "Preview" for this function. In Leopard you can get Preview to merge and rearrange pages. Just drag your separate PDFs to the preview sidebar, arrange as desired by dragging, then save-as... wha-la, you've got your new PDF.

Maybe not but it does have some small advantages like encryption and a sort based on file name as well as manual sort.

I also like the feature of Preview.app, but unfortunately, it cannot
be used for large files. When merged with Preview.app, the
resulting file is significantly larger (by factor of 3 or 4)
than that generated by PDFLab. In this sense, PDFLab is still
useful.
