Existing users, 
This software has gotten progressively worse over the years. Early versions wouldn't save my preferences, later versions suffered from unexpected quits, and now, the software fails to fulfill its primary function- it can't even connect to the internet to check if my versions are up to date. Until this software receives serious attention, I recommend looking elsewhere.

Specifically, being unable to connect to the VersionTracker Pro servers in the first place is a symptom of network or machine configuration issues, which can cause multiple issues within the software. We would love to clear this up so that you can experience the stability and performance improvements of 4.5.1.
