Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

A couple weeks ago I was having trouble uploading multiple large files. Every time I did so one file would go through and then an error message would appear and Transmit (v.2.6.2) would stop uploading. Like the previous post, I also wasn't interested in "baby sitting" the application.

I wrote Les Pozdena and he suggested I download the current version (v.3.6.4). I've done that and it solved the problem and needless to say I was happy the issue was solved.

2 days ago I had to upload some files for work and I get a message that says I have to purchase Transmit, although I've already done that when I purchased v.2.6.2. I wrote Les and asked if he'd send me my serial number information and I haven't received a response yet.

I've always found Transmit to be an excellent application, but this lack of response to a customer in need is curious behavior.

I guess it has something to do with the problems they are having with their website. I haven't been able to reach http://www.panic.com in several days.

Version 3 was not a free upgrade... upgrade from v2 is $17.95. You can purchase a new serial number on their website.

You can even search for your old v2 serial number on their site at https://www.panic.com/transmit/support.html.

It's all pretty clear on their website, on the "buy" page.

I contacted them a couple days a go to upgrade multiple version 2 licenses and haven't heard back yet either. Not sure of the reason for the delay.

Hi everyone,

I'm not sure why you guys haven't received a reply. I try to answer all emails I receive in a timely fashion. Maybe your original email, or my reply, didn't get delivered properly.

Of course, I can't tell who you are from your VersionTracker names. So, please email me directly at les@panic.com or just try again at transmit@panic.com. If you still don't get a response, please give us a call. You can find our number here:

Thank you!
