I'm on Road Runner in Ohio. Safari was really slow after last update. After calling Road Runner they said all Macintosh users surfing with Safari were experiencing slow browsing. Two options
1. Don't use Safari
2. Use a more Global DNS. I manually added the new DNS addresses and I was in high speed again.

I'll second sandbag1's comments. I use Camino and Safari daily, and while I prefer Camino over Firefox, the improvements with Safari 3.x have me using it more and more. Safari 3.1 flies on my PPC machines and is rock solid. Safari 3.0.4 was a definite improvement over Safari 2.0.4, and 3.1 is proof of further refinement by the engineers at Apple. Well done!Besides speed and stability enhancements, one notable improvement (for me) is Safari's handling of Java. Javascript handling is much smoother and very welcome.
