10.4.11 - Eric M

Not sure why you're running into that. I've had no problem updating two 10.4.11 machines (G5 iMac and G4 PBook). Everything works as advertised.

A reboot before installation might help. Also, when is the last time the daily/weekly/monthly scripts ran? Maintidget is useful for that if it's overdue. If neither option clears the path for you to install, I'd consult with a genius in an Apple Store. This update should install and work fine for you.
