I don't know about v.7.0, but version 8.0 works fine. I have tested Photomatix and Enhancer, both tolls are good. In some cases Photomatix is better, with other pictures - Enhancer.
The plugin edition dpes not support HDR, but give good correction of dark photoso.
I prefer the stand-alone with HDR feature.
The program includes three ready presets for HDR.
