What a piece of junk! This thing not only just made four coasters, stopping at 99% of the disk write, and I have to reboot my machine to get the disc mounted and ejected.
I usually go 11 to 20 days without a reboot, in the last twenty hours of using this program I've had to reboot four times!
Guess I'll go back to using Apple's FREE solution for disc burning.

Coaster Maker Titanium - jbucholtz
I have been using Toast 8 since it came out and to date have only ever made one coaster due to no sound and that was my error. I use Verbatim discs and either the Apple drive or a Lacie external drive (somethimes both at the same time for copies) and have had zero problems. I run a 20" iMac Intel Core Duo with first, Tiger and now Leopard. As per the previous reply, try burning at a slower speed. I leave it set to burn at "best speed" though and again no problems.Monday, March 17 2008 @ 08:06 AM PDT

Burn your disk at a slower speed. I have no problems 99% of the time with Toast, but occasionally depending on the disks I'm using, I have to burn at a slower speed than maximum. This is for DVD's, I've had zero problems with DC-R.Reply to This
