Compared to previous versions, at least under Leopard 10.5.2, there are frustrating pauses in responsiveness, especially around the time of Growl notifications. Every time a buddy logs on/off, I get a freeze in UI. If I'm typing in the chat window, nothing shows up...but then all of the text that I was typing will show up at once.
