Why in the world has Apple not compiled this as a Universal binary? So much for Apple's PowerPC Mac commitment. :-(

Not Universal Binary!? :-( - James F.--2008

Because Apple would have to do lots of hardware debugging and make different versions for PPC and Intel (memory registers etc).

Since they seem to have rushed this, I'm not blaming them too much, but yes, it sucks.

Not Universal Binary!? :-( - Brass Hammer

Just but an Intel machine, for crying out loud. What next? "Why don't they make it for System 9?" Maybe you should support Apple the way you want them to support you?

Leopard doesn't run on PPC - bdkennedy1

The SDK requires OS X 10.5.2 which the PPC doesn't run on.
