Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

True to the title, I think I would have enjoyed this more if I was stoned. Didn't quite get the play aspects but then again, given 24 hours of work and free download, it was worth checking it out.

Hmmm... - Hasan_Edain_1

Did you check out the description page?
http://npcunlimited.com/Product_HappyHippyAcres.html

I completely agree that the game play is hard to discover without some description, and we simply had NO time for help text.
I also agree that it takes a certain mindset to enjoy the game :), but so far with a little coaching people seem to be having fun.

The dynamic is Click, Click.
There are two types of control sets:
Brewery and Kitchen (top of screen)
Farm and Garden (bottom of screen)

kitchen and brewery have prereqs on the outside and the main thing down the middle:
Dirty Bottles -> Clean Bottles, and Raw Grain-> Processed Grain, if both clean bottles and processed grain are available, then you can brew beer.

Dirty Plates -> Clean Plates, Raw Food -> Clean Food, then you can cook food.

On the bottom there are five rows each for Farm and Garden. The cylce goes:
Start, Maintain, Harvest.
For the farm, add chickens, feed chickens, harvest eggs.
For the garden, plant seeds, water plants, harvest carots.

For each station there is a meter showing how that station is stocked: Green good, Yellow, watch out, red bad.

In the middle of the top of the screen there is a smiley face that indicates the overall level of happiness of the commune. Keep the face grinning for a time, and get more hippies. You win when you have 8 hippies.
