Whole system lockup needing restart. Tried several times so now food for AppZapper! Beware!

Food for AppZapper - MacItBetter

Since BetterZip is only a normal application that does not install any system hacks, I really don't see how it should lock up the complete system. Do you have any more details about your Mac, your system version, and what you did before it locked up? Thanks.
