Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: NO

On Oct. 26, 2007, long-time consumers and supporters of DiskWarrior received this promise at http://www.alsoft.com/DiskWarrior/support.html "An updated version of DiskWarrior that has complete Leopard compatibility will be released soon as a free download for existing owners of DiskWarrior 4 version 4.0. On Jan. 21, 2008, Alsoft announced on the above webpage that 4.1 had been released: but not to registered owners of 4.0. Instead: "Owners of DiskWarrior 4 version 4.0 will soon be able to download a free CD updater." Sadly, as of Feb. 29, DiskWarrior 4.0 registered owners were still stranded. For discussion of the issue, see this MacOSXHints forum discussion: http://forums.macosxhints.com/showthread.php?t=85356
