Unfortunately, there is a group of young developers that hype up their applications, release them to the community and then they disappear. Off hand I can think of a few applications that this has happened with:

Disco, Appzapper, iClip and Menuet.

Ah, don't forget 'My Dream App', what has become of all those applications? Absolutely Nothing! These develpers don't even update thier website for these app's.

I am disappointed that I have fallen for these schemes one too many times. These developers take our money and move on to the next big app they can swindle us into buying.

I am going to be more careful when purchasing new applications in the future.

I guess there's more money to be made running MacHeist than developing great software.

iClip was promising but falls short when compared to alternatives.

MacHeist seems to be a hit. Perhaps John is more focused on that project. More money by being a middle man instead of a serious developer.

I'm guilty of purchasing iClip, Disco, and AppZapper which is the only one that is not as bad. But I have learned my lesson and have avoided other "Delicious Apps"
