Can anyone who is familiar with Captivate and/or Camtasia (which are Windows-only products) comment on how well this app fits the bill for the OS X platform?

I don't know Captivate (never used). Screenflow it's a lot better than Camtasia. It takes a great benefit from leopard only technologies. It's very powerful when you start to edit your screen captures. The best I have ever seen. See the videos in the developer's site.Reply to This
