I used CleanArchiver to archive some QuarkXpress 3.3 documents, then I extracted them from the .zip file that CleanArchiver created. This did not involve any burning to disc, or transfer over the internet. I simply created the .zip archive with CleanArchiver, then double-clicked on the .zip file. The file extracted, but it would not open with QuarkXpress 3.3. I could not even force it to open with Quark. The file apparently lost its file type or creator information, and the file's icon was replaced with a plain generic icon. CleanArchiver 2.3.1 should definitely NOT be used to archive QuarkXPress 3.3 documents, because the files when extracted from the archive are unusable, and many hours of work could be permanently lost, if this was the only archive of those files.
