Camino doesn't play well with others...

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

I love Camino for it's ad blocking, for sure, and it's proper use of Keychain. But this thing is so buggy, it's ridiculous. I had to go back to 1.5.3, which freezes all the time, just to have something usable. The current version, however, as well as the beta, have actually effectively disabled OS X at times. 1.5.5 completely shut out all other programs from opening. And has more than once locked out the menu bar when switching to another already open program.

Sadly, Camino and Mozilla products in general, have become quite a joke, which each update being more problem than solution.

Camino doesn't play well with others... - j.appel

I use the nightly builds and have never had the kind of problems you speak of. In fact I've been using this OS X web browser since the Chimera days without these problems which is saying a lot since this software has been in development for years. Slow going, but nice and fast now.

Camino plays well with others. - mi3key

I've been using various builds Camino with various versions of OS X almost forever, and have never noticed any compatibility problems at all. Nothing freezes, nothing's broken, other apps run concurrently with no issues. Camino is my #2 browser these days, having moved Firefox down to #3.
