Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

I believe that is now 3 years that Microtek have ignored this and many other older scanners. I had to purchase VueScan from Hamrick, as that was the only way I could use my scanner at all in Mac OS since Tiger.

Still no support for ScanMaker 6800 - sadcase

I've been using a ScanMaker 6800 with ScanWizard Pro for years.

Simply copy the scanner drivers for the 6800 (they're in two folders, one for USB and one for FireWire) from:
[your hard drive] > Library > Application Support > [ScanWizard consumer version, whatever that might be] > Support Bundles > Scanner_Drivers
to:
[your hard drive] > Library > Application Support > ScanWizard Pro 7 > Support Bundles > Scanner_Drivers

I've found it to work perfectly.

This work-around worked like a charm. You saved me the expense of purchasing a new scanner.

Muchos Gracias!!!
