Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Earlier I posted a rant about the changes in video on my MacBook. I figured it out.

Somehow, in the process of the update, the Enhance Contrast setting in the Universal Access preference pane was cranked up to about 50% of maximum. Normal is essentially 0% of maximum, so it made quite a difference. It's not a pref pane that I use at all, so I'm basically clueless (ahem) as to what happened.

If you want to see what I saw on your laptop, try changing the setting. It was pretty frustrating there for a bit. I'm certainly glad that I didn't waste time doing a system reinstall.

It's nice to be in love again. I'll send Steve flowers in the morning and make it up to him, I promise.
