wow, i just tried soho notes for a few weeks to see if they'd improved much since i used a few months ago and when i uninstalled i found that it had deleted ALL the openbase files on my mac. Daylight CRM uses Openbase also so I've just lost my entire customer base because of this crappy installer... I'm speechless! why do they go off and delete everything in the Openbase dir, why? why??? this just smacks of incompetence and laziness!

uninstalling soho notes deletes unrelated items - smeuse

I don't work for Chronos, I'm just a Notes 6.5.4 user with generally good experiences.

When you uninstall Notes, you have to click a non-default button to delete OpenBase, and then you receive a warning to be sure no other program you use relies on OpenBase, for exactly the reason you said. You clicked "OK" to that... but you want to blame someone else for your multiple mistakes?

I hate to see anyone lose data, but it seems backwards to accuse the company of incompetence and laziness.

You have a backup for your business CRM data, I hope.
